The seasoned softwood logs which you’ll receive are a mixture of Larch and Spruce. They have been stored to air dry over a period of months to reduce their moisture content down to below 20%, making them ready for immediate use on your fire. Softwoods give a slightly faster and hotter burn, with a slightly increased chance of spitting and crackling, making them ideal for enclosed fires.

Hardwood Logs
The seasoned hardwood logs which you’ll receive are a mixture of Sycamore, Beech, Silver Birch and Ash. They have been carefully stored and air dried over a period of months to reduce their moisture content down to below 20%, making them ideal for immediate use on your fire. Hardwoods give a slower and longer burn than softwoods, at slightly reduced temperatures. They are perfect for woodburners, open fires and stoves.
We also offer Kiln Dried Hardwood logs to ensure a constant supply of premium grade of Ready to Burn Logs.
